Cook Security Group, listed as a 100 Best Companies to Work for, is looking for a current Electronic Security Account Manager that knows Alarm systems, Video Systems, and some Access Control. Experience with DMP, Verint, 3VR, Video Insight, AMAG and other systems are a definite plus! Location: Bay Area/Sacramento, CA

Summary: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, technical support, customer meetings, site surveys, system commissioning, and customer training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Acts as key contact for potential and current customers to best sell and understand access control, alarm and video installations and requirements.
  2. Remains proactive with existing accounts and introduces additional reoccurring revenue service opportunities.
  3. Maintains knowledge of service and product lines and reaches out to CSG resources and experts when applicable.
  4. Turns all quotes (service and installs) around within 48 hours with exception of large projects.
  5. Organizes installation jobs to be installed with drawing and diagrams.
  6. Pre-stages equipment and provides technical support to installation team.
  7. Trains end users.
  8. Tests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance per customers' requirements.
  9. Communicates important project status information to management as necessary.
  10. Communicates with customers on job status or completion.
  11. Provides technical support both internally and externally.
  12. Assembles customer quotes.
  13. Assists other ASMs with site surveys and quotes.
  14. Conducts site surveys upon request of management.
  15. Works closely with Operations department in "handing off" both service agreements and installations.
  16. Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training; Complex solutions sales or Technical sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lenel Master Certification, Network + Certification, Video Certifications on most commonly used systems, Bosch and DMP Certification is preferred.
